age ain't nothin' but a number
when i see the young ones amongst us
i pray that they hunger for god while the sun's up
while still summer time before it's winter time
i pray that they would come up
before they reach old age and they can take a fall
and their knees won't break and they see no gray
where're my daylight soldiers with a teenage frame
but a faith like grownups
the weight on my shoulders
comes from the young that say i'll wait 'til i'm older"
