a brief lesson in repetition

if you don't like it you don't have to stay

so says the man who acts like every day is christmas day

if you want to speak you better tow the line

forget ideals there isn't time to waste

it's simply to late when you have to the whole world to rule

and oh how you love to serve your crown

blindly defended

you can't let the stock market down

because you can't afford it

and in the end when they're wrong again

they'll rewrite history

and try again to lie again

to make us look like saviors

bombs away

a country that was founded on democracy

learns a lesson from its own history

repeats itself again and again

the grass is always greener on the other side

so if my criticism shows a lack of pride

cover your ears and shield your eyes
