i woke up with a blessing

i look straight to the heavens

said i could feel that holy presence telling us to raise our weapons

i said all of this aggression ain't the way to spread a message

time and time the world is testing all of these outdated methods

i'm just trying to raise the bar

we all divided we can't let the media tear us apart

that's for christians and muslims and anybody of color

who feels mistreated on my single parents

couples and lovers
