cooking mama: the musical

first we'll melt the butter and add a cup of cream

we'll pour it in the pan and add some flour

we need to stir it gently

now let's grate a block of cheddar

better make this sauce supreme

take two quarts of water and pour it in your pot

now start the stove and bring it to a boil

we'll drop in some spaghetti and once it's gotten hot

we can dump it in the strainer

a little bit al dente. but we'll work with what we've got

cut the bread up length-wise with simple

fluid strokes

it's only bread

it shouldn't need a chainsaw

now spread on garlic butter

is this some kind of joke?

add a dash or two of parsley till the parsley shaker's broke

pick a prawn to start with and dip it in the sauce

a bit more sauce wouldn't hurt

now coat these shrimp in breading and don't let them roll off

how are these rolling off?!

put 'em in a pan to start 'em cooking

and saute them like a boss!

douse the oven fire

and have a smoky scent that likes to linger?

let's add a dab of icing to hide the dried out crust
