i see the barwon river rise

and it washes all my worrying away

it's a good night for a campfire tonight

grab a yabbie-tin

throw a line in

and con a cod fish to bite

it's all quiet in walgett tonight

the publican has turned out the light

just a little frog on a river log

looking for a fight

drink a little beer
