i'll put on a jacket

and go out to daniel's

watch kingfishers catching

fish from the dam stream

look up at the cliff

the sun shining over it

or sit down and rest

on the old church steps

i thought i'd get lonely

i'd thought i'd feel low

but i don't

sun sets on the water

and comes back tomorrow

black bird flies

against a dark grey sky

blue heron dives
