lord jesus i can't believe it

i was having this terrible dream it seemed that

the whole world hated you for no reason

except for when they chains needed gold pieces

they rejected god

and turned back to egypt

they accepted darkness

thought that was freedom

but a mess we caused you could've blessed us all

but all flesh will dog you for their platinum leashes

and then they said we all came from apes

and then i said well who made the apes

and why we still looking at them apes today
