well today i checked my mailbox another one was there

a letter written by some girl tellin' me she cared

all this time i've wondered who that secret admirer could be

i just don't know why she won't give her name to me

now she says that she loves me and that i really mean a lot

i wonder if it might be from a girl that i once knew

the handwriting cannot be traced there's not a single clue

yes i get ghost written love letters hand writing unknown

but they're the sweetest words i've ever heard oh they really turn me on
