a song to show you some of us still care

i have seen you choking on the smog

you're forests chopped down and your rivers clogged

but in my dreams everything seems much brighter than before

and i can see her calling me from the shore

oh mama it must break your heart so

to see your children warring over gold

and all the blood it soaks into your skin

you feel the fears of all the years they've been hunting and slaughtering

all the animals that should be running free

they are slowly being exterminated by humanity

look to the east

the road to peace lies with the setting sun

under her wing where everything is one

and when all the waterfalls have died

we won't be able to replace them

no matter how many tears we cry

when darkness falls it will be all who face the shadow

and your judgement it will come from within your own soul

will you have the courage to look into the mirror
