i got a juju on my haiku

i got a mojo on my sutra too

and all she did was barely look my way

state of grace in the wink of an eye

one startlin' moment face to face and i was through

finished with this folderol

free from all this lah-dee-dah and whoop-dee-do

she took me like a rollin' river runnin' wide

just like some sacred recitation

fulfill some longin' somewhere deep inside

somethin' that defies communication
